We will discuss how fat is gained and maintained, and how to lose it based on actual medical science. “Eat less and move more” is a mantra, repeated over and over by physicians who themselves cannot lose fat through this strategy. The reality is that fat is not the disease, it is the outward manifestation of disease processes and evolutionary survival strategies that are happening on a hormonal and biochemical level. We will talk about how to figure out the likely reasons for weight gain and inability to lose in an individual person as well as strategies to normalize our health and body fat.
