Fasting is a free and powerful tool in the quest for health and longevity. Whatever ill plagues you, whatever your health goal is, there is a fasting technique that will be of benefit to you.
Fasting is more mentally challenging than physically challenging. Fasting with other people is much easier than fasting alone. Our goal is to build a team for this three week long progression from the most simple level of fasting up to a four day fast. Most people think fasting, let alone a four day fast, is extreme and nuts, but it is going to be easier and more comfortable than you expect, and we will do it together.
We will have a progressive schedule of fasting over the seminar, moving through intermittent fasting, time restricted eating, one, two and four day fasts interspersed with days of regular eating timed so that you can have some “normal” evenings and weekend days with your family.
We will use the app VOXER to give all participants a text and/or voice option to communicate with the group about their challenges and successes and for us to share hacks and solutions to issues that come up. We will also have a weekly Zoom session to review the experiences of the week, discuss the next week’s schedule and to teach why we are doing what we are doing and what is happening in our bodies. By the end of the month you will be much better informed and thoroughly experienced in how to use fasting as a tool to influence your health, and you will have the confidence to use it on your own.
Prerequisites: If you are pregnant, you should postpone fasting until you are finished with breast feeding.
If you are diabetic, I ask that you become a patient in my clinic so that we can mange your health more carefully within the context of fasting
Fees:
Individual (one slot on Voxer) $50 for three weeks
Location: VIRTUAL so invite your fluffy and dragging friends from around the world to join us for a month of fun and metamorphosis.
We will have an introductory Zoom meeting at 8 PM EST on September 26th and then get going.
I recently participated in the month long, progressive fasting class directed by Dr. Ed Pomicter. I found the process to be very beneficial and would recommend it to others. I did more fasting than I thought I was capable of doing. What I found very helpful was that it was with a group and this group had Ed as the leader. The group provided a variety of experiences, comments and encouragement that I would not have had should I have attempted this effort on my own. Secondly, a thoughtful and knowledgeable leader is very important, and Ed was exceptional in this role. I highly recommend the experience. —J.B.
