There has been a rise in the political sphere of the potential for nuclear war and nuclear terrorism. Most of us have been lead to believe (i.e. brainwashed) to think that nuclear war is so devastating that nobody in their right mind would actually use nuclear weapons, and, if they did, it would be the end of the world. We will have a rational discussion this evening on the actual risks to us a non-combatants in the event of the use of nuclear weapons and how to protect ourselves and our families if such an event were to occur. This is not all doom and gloom, and perhaps that is why it is actually a potential scenario that we may face.
