New Patient Orientation: Joining The Ed Pomicter Medical Practice

  • Edward Pomicter MD 7566 Turleytown Road Singers Glen, VA, 22850 United States (map)

Prospective new patients to the medical practice should attend a New Patient Orientation Session prior to commencement of the physician-patient relationship, or attend another tip jar class and stay after to ask any clarifying questions about the practice. This is to help ensure that you do not commit your time and money to joining this practice if it does not suit your goals and needs.

This session will review what you can expect from Ed, what he expects from you in this relationship, and the advantages of Ed’s practice over a conventionally run and financed medical practice. We will also review fees and discounts, the expected duration and frequency of non-urgent visits, the availability for urgent visits, and any other questions that you may have. Participants who wish to schedule an initial appointment can do so at the meeting and will be provided with new-patient packets with forms to complete and data to collect prior to our first appointment together.

Event participation is limited to 8 people per session, and as this is a group event we will not be discussing specifics of any individual’s medical status or needs in order to maintain the privacy of your personal situation (unless you want to talk about those things). If parent(s) or guardian(s) wish to enroll their child in this practice, I ask that all people with medical decision authority for said child attend the session together so that everybody is on the same page.
